Someone I loved once gave me a box full of darkness. It took me years to understand that this, too, was a gift.

All I’ve ever really wanted to do is write. Perhaps it’s my background in journalism, but I find myself exploring big and sometimes hard questions that will spark or continue conversations - always with a large dose of empathy.
In short: I write book club fiction exploring all sorts of relationships, motherhood, contemporary life, and emotions with themes like class, capitalism, power/privilege, the South, feminism, and of course, sisters. Always sisters.
